Northern Lights Tour

From autumn until spring, it’s possible to witness one of nature’s most incredible displays during clear and cold nights: The Northern Lights. You may be lucky enough to see them swirling and dancing across the sky, endlessly changing color, shape, and size.

Your driver-guide will take you out of the city, away from the glowing lights of Reykjavik, for spotting northern lights should they choose to make an appearance.

This tour is subject to the correct weather conditions, and sightings cannot be guaranteed.

Sightings are not guaranteed even if the tour is operated

If we have to cancel the tour due to weather conditions, we offer you to change dates or receive a full refund.

The evening before, we analyze the weather forecast and atmospheric conditions for your tour. Then, on tour, we will drive you to the location where the weather forecast has indicated will be the best place that night to see auroras. It’s most often within a 1-1,5 hours radius of the capital. Then, we will drive you somewhere quiet and where it’s dark, away from the city’s light pollution. That is great for your camera moments if you intend to photograph the auroras.

Our guides are trained to find the best places possible to spot where the northern lights are, as well it gets pretty exciting for the passengers to take part in the lights hunt!

Be sure to book your tour of a lifetime with us and experience Iceland in an ultimate way!
