In the event of cancellation for any reason, 10% of the price of your tour is non-refundable. This percentage represents our expenses for booking and preparing your tour.
Full refund, minus 10% booking fee.7-2 days prior to departure: 50% refund of tour price.48 hours prior to departure the balance of the tour price must be paid in full. 48 hours or less prior to departure: No refund of tour price. Refunds are not issued if the guest chooses not participate in any of the planned activities. If a day tour is cancelled by Oak Travel Service due to weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances prior to departure from Reykjavik a full refund minus 10% booking fee is granted. If a tour is cancelled by Oak Travel Service and was booked through a booking agent your agent will be informed of your eligibility for a refund of the portion hosted by Oak Travel Service. Eligibility is based on conditions listed above
Cancellation due to weather
If a scheduled day tour is cancelled by us due to poor weather conditions, we can arrange for you to go on the tour on a different day. If that does not work with your schedule, we can also offer an alternative activity at no additional cost or give you a full refund.
How to cancel or change a booking
All cancellations must be made through sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
with the email subject as: Refund Request – “Order number”.
Please also note that we might not be able to fulfill your changed requirements due to lack of availability. But we will always do our best.
During the booking process you will be able to choose a pickup location and starting time. If you do not show up for the scheduled pickup time and location stated on your booking, your reservation is nonrefundable.
If you do not know your pickup location at the time of booking, you can choose to update your pick up location later, up to 24 hours before tour departure. Please send an email to email@example.com with your pick up location.
Terms of payment
When you reserve online a full payment is charged to your credit card. your payment must reach us 30 days before your arrival.
Oak Travel Service ehf cannot be liable to any loss, damage, accidents, injuries or sickness during your tour. The same applies for any changes in tour schedule due to weather, strikes or any other force majeure. Tour operators reserve the right to change routes, schedules and itineraries if needed because of weather, road conditions or should the necessity arise because of unforeseen reasons. We advise all travelers to purchase a comprehensive travel insurance to minimize possible loses due to unforeseeable situations during your travel.
Right to modify
Oak Travel Service ehf reserves the right to modify or amend its Terms of Service at any time without notice. Nicetravel ehf also reserves the right of final decision on the interpretation of its Terms of Services above and the Terms and Conditions of the website.

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of Iceland, and each of the parties submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Iceland.
